4 Days/ 3 Night

Arrive  in Pangkalan  Bun  Airport, you will be meet by our guide and transfer to  Kumai port by  car ( 20 minutes ). From Kumai port we proceed our trip by traditional  house boat  that is called Klotok  by the local  to  National Park Tanjung  Puting, our destination where the orangutans live. This wooden house boat is designed for the river cruise, by sitting on its wooden roof you can observe the wild animals that live or do activities in the jungle along the river during the river cruise. The trip to our destination is about 2 hours, the beverage and light snack will be served during the trip. Dinner and over night will be on the Boat

Day 2: Camp Leakey

After  breakfast  leaving for  Camp Leakey, the highlight of National Park with the house boat  for about 2 hours trip to this well known orangutan  feeding site. During  the trip  by travelling along the river  you may many of birds  such as the horn bill, rare seen bird  “storm stork”, the proboscis  monkey and even the wild orangutan searching the fruits from the trees by the river. At around  12:00  the house boat  reach the pier of Camp Leakey, lunch will be served. Leave the boat  we walk up to the information center  to get detail information about orangutan in this area or searching  the orangutan around the camp. We continue our tour by following  orangutan feeding  which is being held   at 14:00. Feeders will lead us to the  state platform. We will be at this feeding  until 16:00, then back to the boat. Dinner and overnight on the boat.

Day 3: Pondok  Tanggui  - soft trekking  -  Tanjung Harapan

After breakfast departs to Pondok Tanggui the second rehabilitation in National Park, the feeding time is at 09:00. Here you will see how the orangutan come through the forest to reach the supplement from the ranger who feed them. While you observe the orangutan, you also have time to take picture and get the information about orangutan given by your tour guide. The next program after visit the feeding station is trekking/jungle walk in the area nearby, the trekking takes about 2- 3 hours walk .We walk under the jungle canopy and many kind of birds can be seen during the trekking time, the path of this trekking route is shady .The beverage and light snack is provided during the trekking and an experienced local ranger will escort us. The lunch will be served on the boat  and we return to Hotel/house boat at around 13:00. Then visit to the  another feeding station Tanjung Harapan  will be made at around 15:00. The overnight  and over night will be on the boat.

Day 4: Boat – Airport

After breakfast leaving for Airport transferred   by wooden house boat to Kumai for about 2 hours. Our car will be waiting for you in Kumai to drive you to Airport in City for your next destination.
